Welcome to the Information Network for the Alternative Certification of Teachers (INACT).  INACT is a collaborative certification project of the Texas A&M University System, Texas A&M University, Texas A&M University-Commerce, Texas A&M University-Texarkana, West Texas A&M University and Tarleton State University.  The purpose of INACT is to provide a high quality certification process for individuals seeking alternative teacher certification. Through online delivery, INACT is designed to meet the busy schedules of alternative certification interns.

The content of INACT was made possible through a Transition to Teaching grant from the United States Department of Education. The contents of this website were developed under a grant from the U.S. Department of Education.  However, those contents do not necessarily represent the policy of the Department of Education, and you should not assume endorsement by the Federal Government.
